Patio Covers

Patio covers allow you to shade outdoor spaces without the cost of erecting permanent roofing or the inconvenience of umbrellas.

We offer Framed covers, BowStretch covers and FlatStretch nets.

A Framed cover uses a domed steel structure to support a shade net over the area to be covered. Although this structure is usually wall-mounted, it can also be free-standing.

The UV-protected netting material is available in densities from 60% to 90%. These can be removed from the structure with a minimum of effort. The overall structure has a high wind resistance.

 

BowStretch is a design unique to AA Shade Netting. It is visually pleasing, unobtrusive and provides continuous shade without any gaps. The horizontal pitch can be varied to maximise shade coverage regardless of the season.

These are suitable for walkways, driveways and long patios. We can install any type and density of fabric.

Also, they have a high wind resistance.

 

FlatStretch is a tensioned net system that combines functional design and aesthetics.

This system uses either wall fixtures or free-standing posts to stretch a custom-made net over the area you want to have covered. The size of each net is limited, but there is no limit to the number of nets that can be combined to cover a larger area.

Normally, we use UV-protected shade netting material. We can supply this in densities ranging from 20% to 90%. The netting is completely detachable for cleaning and storage. Unlike some store-bought stretch nets, ours don’t sag after just a couple of years.

These have medium to low wind resistance depending on location and fabric.

None of our patio covers are regarded as permanent structures, so no municipal planning permission is needed for their installation.
